Project overview

Purpose

Led by soil researcher Marina E. Coetzee and associated with the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem (MATE; Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences), the project brings together legacy laboratory data, field descriptions, maps, published and unpublished documents, a quality-controlled national soil profile database, the new 1:250 000 National Soil Map and new 90 m predicted soil-property distributions.

Where practical, visitors will be able to download raw and standardised data, report and presentation images, shapefiles, GeoTIFFs, profile photographs and original model code. Existing permanent records will continue to link to Zenodo, with selected material also hosted here for convenient access.
